To Find :
The distance in km for which car runs = ?
Solution :
The total distance covered in the given duration is :
= (reading of 31st dec - reading on 1st jan ) + the distance for which tachometer was not working
= (84753 km - 53146 km) + 54336 km
= 31607 km + 54336 km
= 86943 km
Hence the car ran for 86943 km during the given duration .
