New Delhi: At a time when Kashmir is passing through a political turmoil, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Tata Trusts on Wednesday said that they are coming together to understand the aspiration of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, impart skill training and help them find jobs.
Both the organizations have roped in Dalberg Global Development Advisors, an international strategic advisory firm in development sector, for mapping the “aspirations of the youth from the state and identifying the key challenges and interventions that can create a better impact by way of employment opportunities with corporate.
“The study would look at the aspirations of the youth and shall engage with large corporates to explore possibilities of skilling and hiring them, look at the enablement process for the youth to get ready for the corporate sector careers and finalise job roles in line with the aspirations of the youth," NSDC and Tata Trust said in a statement.
