Given :-

• The taxable price of a Nokia mobile is 11,000.
• The rate of CGST is 6%.

To Find :-

• Find the total GST ?

Solution :-

→ Taxable Price = 11000

→ CGST = 6%

→ CGST in Rs. = 6% of 11000 = (6 * 11000) / 100 = Rs.660 .

Now, we know that,

• Rate of CGST = Rate of SGST

So,

→ Rate of SGST also = 6%

Than,

→ SGST in Rs. = 6% of 11000 = (6 * 11000) / 100 = Rs.660 .

Therefore,

→ Total GST = CGST + SGST

→ Total GST = 660 + 660

→ Total GST = Rs.1320 (Ans.)

[ Note :- we can use Rate of CGST + Rate of SGST = Rate of GST , and find direct 12% of Taxable Price. ]
