Answer:

 \: \: \sf \: \: a_1 = a = \: Rs.15 \\ \\ \\ \: \: \sf \: \: a_2 = a + d = 15 + 8 = \: Rs.23 \\ \\ \\ \: \: \sf \: \: a_3 = 23 + 8 = Rs.31 \\ \\ \\ \large{ \boxed{ \sf{ \: \therefore \: \: list \: of \: fares \: is \: 15, \: 23 \: and \: 31}}} \\ \\

Now,

 \\ \sf \: a_2 \: - \: a_1 \: = \: Rs. \: 23 - Rs. \: 15 = Rs. \: 8 \\ \\ \\ \sf \: a_3 \: - \: a_2= \: Rs. \: 31- \: Rs. \: 23 = Rs. \: 8 \\ \\ \\ \qquad \large \sf \because \: a_2 \: - \: a_1 \: = a_3 \: - \: a_2 \\ \\

Therefore, the list forms an AP.
