Total distance covered = x km
Fare for 1st km = Rs 10
Fare for subsequent of the distance = Rs6 subsequent distance = Rs 6(x-1)

Therefore, Total fare = Fare for 1st km+ Fare for the subsequent(x-1)km

=> y= 10+6(x-1)
y= 10+6x-6
=> y= 6x+4
