the taxi fare in a city is such that rupees 50 is fixed amount and rupees 16 per kilometre starts taking the distance covered as X kilometre and Total fare as a rupees y write a linear equation in X and Y

Solution:

16x + 50 = y

x = 20km

So, Rs(16 * 20 + 50)

Rs (320 + 50)

Rs 370 /-

He has to pay Rs 370 /- for 20km
