For first 1 kilometre it will be rs 14.

For remaining 9 kilometres it will be rs 2 x 9= rs 18.

So total fare for 10 kilometres is 18 + 14= 32

Fare For 10 kilometer = 14*10

= 140 rupees

Now additional fare for the 2nd kilometer = 2 = 2

Now additional fare for the 3nd kilometer = 2+2 = 4

Now additional fare for the 4nd kilometer = 2+2+2 = 6

Now additional fare for the 5nd kilometer = 2+2+2+2 = 8

Now additional fare for the 6nd kilometer = 2+2+2+2+2 = 10

Now additional fare for the 7nd kilometer = 2+2+2+2+2+2 = 12

Now additional fare for the 8nd kilometer = 2+2+2+2+2+2+2 = 14

Now additional fare for the 9nd kilometer = 2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2 = 16

Now additional fare for the 10nd kilometer = 2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2 = 18

Now adding the additional fare = 2+4+6+8+10+12+14+16+18 = 90

Now the total fare = 140+90

= 250 rupees

[That additional fare can also be done using multiplication]
