the teacher taught Dalton's atomic theory in class and asked sanjeev to explain the definition of atom . sanjeev said that atoms are the finest particles that can be broken down.did sanjeev say anything wrong in the definition,if wrong?so what is right​

According to Dalton's theory , the atom is the smallest constituent of matter and cannot be divided further. Thus Sanjeev is wrong in his assumptions.

But later, this part of his theory was considered a drawback as splitting of atoms is now possible.
