Let lowest score be = x

then,

highest marks = 2x+7

87=2x+7

80=2x

x=40

the lowest marks is 40 because see it is said that highest marks is 7 more than twice of lowest marks so 87-7=80 th en 80 is twice of 40 so the answer is 40
