Teacher said this becuz all mosquitoes breed in stagnant water. Hence, one should not let water collect anywhere, in coolers, tyres, flower pot etc. By keeping the surroundings clean and dry we can prevent mosquitoes from breeding.

The teacher told the children in the class not to let water collect in the coolers, tires, vases, because -

  • Stagnant water is the breeding spot for the mosquitoes.
  • Now, the water which is collected in the hollow things like coolers, tires and vases, act as the stagnant water for the mosquito breeding.
  • We all know that mosquito conducted diseases are extremely harmful for us. (Eg. Dengue, Maleria etc.)
  • Now, to prevent the mosquito conducted diseases we have to stop their breeding, by destroying their breeding spots containing stagnant water.
  • So, in simple words, the teacher instructed to prevent water collection in those hollow things, in order to prevent the mosquito breeding.
