The temperature at 12 noon was 10°C above zero. If it decreases at the rate of 2°C
per hour until midnight, at what time would the temperature be 8°C below zero?
What would be the temperature at mid-night?

Can anyone help me giving a easy explanation for this Q!!

Answer:

Temperature will be 8°C below zero at 9:00 am.

At mid-night the temperature will be -38°C.

Step-by-step explanation:

( 10 + 8 ) / 2 = 9

Temperature will be 8°C below zero at 9:00 am.

24 * 2 = 48

10 - 48 = -38°C

At mid-night the temperature will be -38°C.
