Answer:

(a) 9 p.m. (b) - 14°C

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the temperature is going down at the rate of 2°c per hour

(a) temperature will be 8 °c below 0 =-8°c

It will be at 10-(-8)=18/2=9 hours

9 hours from 20 noon =9p.m

(b)at midnight 12 hours would be passed

Temperature will go down 12×2=24°c down

Temperature at the moment will be 10- 24 =-14°c
