We assume that the temperature raises at the same rate uniformly.

Rate = (2° - (-10°))/(10-4) hrs = 3/2 °C/hour.

Temperature at 9pm: T at 10pm - Rate of increase per 1 hour
= 2 ° - 3/2 = 0.5°C
