hour at what time would the temperature be 10°C above zero ?

temp 1 = - 8°C time 1 = zero hour

temp 2 = 10 °C time 2 = t hours

according to question

change in temperature/ change in time = 2 °C per hour

(temp 2 - temp 1) /( time 1 - time 2) = 2

(10 - ( - 8) ) / ( t - 0 ) = 2

(10 + 8 ) / t = 2

18 / t = 2

t = 18/ 2

t = 9 hours..

so 7 AM + 9 hours = 4 P M

therefore at 4 PM temperature would be 10 °C above zero
