The rise in temperature that has taken place is 400 degree Celsius.

Given

  • – 200℃
  • 200℃

To find

  • rise in temperature

Solution

we are provided with the initial temperature of an object as well as the final temperature of the object and are asked to determine the rise in temperature that has taken place.

The rise in temperature would be the difference of final temperature and initial temperature.

T = final temperature - initial temperature

ie, T = 200 - (-200)

or, T = 200 + 200

or, T = 400℃

Therefore, the rise in temperature that has taken place is 400 degree Celsius.
