Temperature at noon=12°c

Rate of decreasing=2°c per hour until midnight

time would the temperature be 8°c below zero

so,time will take for decreasing the temperature from 12°c to -8°c = Time = 12°c +8°c=20°c

at what time the the temperature would be 8°c below 0= 20°c÷2°c=10 hours

So, time= 12hour + 10hour=22hour

=22 hours=10 o clock PM

The temperature at midnight>

midnight means--12:00AM

So,time gap between 12:00Am to 12:00Pm is 12 hours.

Temperature at midnight= 12 hours + 12 hours=24 hours

=24 hours ÷ 2= 12 °c below zero

Hence the temperature at midnight is 12°c below zero
