The temperature at noon at a certain place was 12 degrees above zero. If it decreases at the rate of 2 degrees per hour until midnight, at what time would it be 10 degrees below zero?

total change in temperature =12-(-10)
=22 degrees
If it decreases @ of 2 degrees /hour ,then it would decrease 22 degrees in 22/2 =11 hours
So, at 11 pm ,the temperature will be 10 degrees below zero.
