when the question is given to find mean temperature you have to find the average of all the temperature

so 50+85+65+72+53+80+60=465

average= sum of total/no. of total

=465/7

=66.4

\large\to{\underbrace{\underline{\sf{Understanding\:the\:concept:-}}}}

\dashrightarrow Here, the question has given us the temperature of a place for the past seven days that were:- 50, 85, 65, 72, 53, 80, 60. Now the question has asked us to find the mean temperature. So, we simply have to apply the formula of mean and solve to get the mean temperature of last seven days.

ANSWER:-

☯ The mean temperature of last seven days is 65.

GIVEN:-

⟶ Temperature of last seven days (data) = 50, 85, 65, 72, 53, 80, 60

TO FIND:-

⇾ Mean temperature = ?

FORMULA:-

 \to \bf{Mean =  \frac{Sum \: of \: total}{Number \: of \: terms}}

SOLVING BY APPLYING THE FORMULA:-

↬ Mean = Sum of total / Number of terms

↬ No. of terms = 7

↬ Mean = 50 + 85 + 65 + 72 + 53 + 80 + 60 / 7

↬ Mean = 465 / 7

↬ Mean = 465 / 7 = 66.4

↬ Mean = 66.4 (We'll round it to the nearest whole number because it's necessary.)

↬ Mean = 65 (Rounded of to nearest whole)

Hence, we got the answer. The mean temperature of the last 7 days is 65.
