Your answer is 9° C

See the full statement given below ,

\rule{200}{4}

Given ,

→ Temperature at 6 am ( morning time ) = -3° C

→ Rise in temperature = Given in question ( from midnight to 6 am = 12 ° C

→ Temperature at 12 am ( midnight ) = Will calculate

\rule{200}{4}

So ,

→ in accordance with this question the temperature raised is 12 ° C from midnight to 6 am.

→ Means , 12 ° C temperature raised in 6 hours.

→ So , the changing or rising rate of temperature will be 12 / 6 = 2° C / H ( per hour )

→ Coming to the point ,

( From 6 am to 12 pm the hours calculated are 6 )
if the temperature is raising with the same speed of 2° C / H , Then ,

The temperature at 12 pm ( Mid day )

Will be = -3 + 12 = 9° C

\rule{200}{4}

→ And the temperature at 12 am ( mid night )

Should be -3 + ( -12 ) = -15 ° C
