temp. of sound in air at 0°C = 331.2 m/s

Let temp at which the speed of sound in air is half the speed at 0°C be x°C

Now, A/Q

Speed of sound at x°C = 1/2 * 331.3

331.3 + 0.6*x = 165.65

0.61*x = 165.65 - 331.3

0.61*x = -165.65

x = -165.65/0.61

x = -16565/61

x = -271.55

x = approx -272

it is nearest to -273°C .

so, answer is (d) -273°C
