the temperature of a city at 12 noon was 16 Celsius. Every hour it decrease by 3 celsius. What will be temperature at 5 p.m.

no of hours between 12 noon and 5pm = 5

hence temperature decrease = 16_ 5×3=1 Celsius

the temperature at 5 pm is 1 Celsius
