The temperature of a city rose to 35/2 degree celcius from 12 noon to 4 pm. But from 4 pm to 9 pm it fell by 23/5 degree celcius. Find the thermometer's reading at 9 pm if the initial reading at noon was 55/3 degree celcius.

temperature at noon in degree Celsius
 =  \frac{55}{3}

temperature at 4 pm in degree Celsius
 =  \frac{55}{3}  +  \frac{35}{2}
 = \frac{215}{6}
temperature at 9 pm in degree Celsius

  = \frac{215}{6}  -  \frac{23}{5}
  = \frac{937}{30}

Hope it'll help you
