Step-by-step explanation:

temperature of a place at 6 p.m. is 12°C

Between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. there is 12 hours

since temperature decreases at the rate of 2°C per hour till 6 a.m.,so total temp. lossed between this time interval is ,

12 × 2 = 24°C

therefore temperature at 6 a.m. will be

= 12-24

= -12°C

temp. at 7 pm = 12-2 = 10 ° C

temp at 8 pm = 10-2 = 8 °C

temp. at 9pm = 8-2 = 6 ° C

temp at 10 pm = 6-2 = 4 °c

temp at 11pm = 4-2 = 2°C

temp at 12am = 2-2 = 0° C

temp at 1 am = 0-2 = -2 °C

temp at 2am = -2-2 = -4°C

At 1am the temperature will be 2°C below zero
