If y and x are final and initial temperatures respectively then,
In Celsius scale
Change in temperature
x - y = 50°C ………(1)
In Kelvin scale
Change in temperature
= (x + 273) - (y + 273)
= x + 273 - y - 273
= x - y
= 50°C ……[∵ From (1)]
∴ Increase in temperature in Celsius scale = Increase in temperature in absolute scale.
In Celsius scale
Change in temperature
x - y = 50°C ………(1)
In Kelvin scale
Change in temperature
= (x + 273) - (y + 273)
= x + 273 - y - 273
= x - y
= 50°C ……[∵ From (1)]
∴ Increase in temperature in Celsius scale = Increase in temperature in absolute scale.
