at 8pm the temperature is +10C

the no. of hours from 8pm to 8am is 12hrs

given, decreases at 3C per hour

so in 12 hrs decrease in temperature = 12*3 = 36

so temperature at 8am is 10-36 = -26C

Answer:

At 8:00 P.M. temp. is 10°C.

from, 8;00 P.M. to 8:00A.M. is 12 hours.

temp. decreases @ 3°C/hr., so in 12 hrs. temp. decreases= 10-(12*3)= -26°C

So, at 8:00 A.M. temp. in Nainital observed= -26°C
