The temperature of the body is 0°C ,is it radiating?

Yes, A body at 0 degree Centigrade radiates heat. Any body with temperature above absolute zero i.e. 0 K will emit and absorb thermal radiation.

Yes, is the body will radiate heat,even it's temperature is 0°C.

• The 0°C is not absolute zero temperature and that's why we can bring down the temperature below the 0°C.

• The 0°C = 273 Kelvin of temperature.

• So,when the temperature will reach 0 Kelvin or -273°C, the heat radiation might be stopped by the body.

• As a conclusion,we can say that a body can radiate heat even it is in 0°C temperature,in order to get negative temperature count.
