SoluTion :-

Given :

The temperature of the steam coming out of a boiler is 610K

To Find :

Temperature of the steam on the Fahrenheit scale and on the Celsius scale.

Formula :

If T_C, T_F and T_K are the temperatures of a body on Celcius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin scales respectively, then,

\underline{\boxed{\bf{\purple{\dfrac{T_C-0}{100-0}=\dfrac{T_F-32}{212-32}=\dfrac{T_K-273}{100}}}}}

From the above relation, we can say that...

\bigstar\bf\:\red{T_K=T_C+273}\\ \\ \bigstar\bf\:\green{T_F=\dfrac{9}{5}(T_C+32)}

Calculation :

:\implies\sf\:T_K=T_C+273\\ \\ :\implies\sf\:610=T_C+273\\ \\ :\implies\sf\:T_C=610-273\\ \\ :\implies\boxed{\bf{\orange{T_C=337\degree{C}}}}\\ \\ \mapsto\sf\:T_F=1.8(T_C+32)\\ \\ \mapsto\sf\:T_F=1.8(337+32)\\ \\ \mapsto\sf\:T_F=1.8(369)\\ \\ \mapsto\boxed{\bf{\gray{T_F=664.2\:F}}}
