Explanation:

For a given thermocouple, neutral temperature is fixed and independent of the temperature of the cold junction. For Cu-Fe thermocouple, neutral temperature in 270oC. Also when the temperature is increased further the neutral point, thermo emf starts decreasing and becomes zero.
