Answer:

The temperature difference and the error therein were calculated to be 30°c ± 1°c.

Given:

t1 = 20°c ± 0.5°c

t2 = 50°c ± 0.5°c

To find:

Temperature difference

Formula to be used:

Temperature difference = t2 - t1

Solution:

The range of difference that occurs between the exact value and approximate value is called absolute error.

Temperature difference = t2 - t1

Temperature difference = (50°c ± 0.5°c) – (20°c ± 0.5°c)

Temperature difference = 30°c ± 1°c
