Answer:

Scale 2 is colder by 80 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Scale 1  = 60 degrees Celsius

Scale 2 = 60 degrees Fahrenheit

Fahrenheit and Celsius are related as

F = 9/5C + 32

Where F is temperature in Fahrenheit and C is temperature in Celsius

60 degrees Celsius is

F = (9/5 * 60) + 32

F = 540/5 + 32

F = 108 + 32

F = 140 degrees fahrenheit

There for Scale 2 is 80 degrees colder than Scale 2 in terms of fahrenheit

You can also use the same formula and find the difference in terms of celsius

Hope it helps

Have a great day ;)
