the temperature rises by 18 degree Fahrenheit. what is rise on the Celsius scale​

[(F-32) × 5]/9 = C

[(18-32) × 5]/9 = C

[(-14) × 5]/9 = C

(-70)/9 = C

7.7 = C

C = 7.7°

we know that

 \frac{c}{5}  =  \frac{f - 32}{9}

put f= 18

then

c =  \frac{(f - 32)5}{9}

c =  \frac{ - 70}{9}

c = - 7 .77degree
