Step-by-step explanation:

Solution

Let the number be 10a+b where a is tens digit and b is ones digit then equation will be

1)b - a = 3

2)(10b + a) - (10a + b) = 27

3)a + b = 11

Notice that (2) simplifies to 9(b−a)=27 which is the same as (1). One of these is redundant.

Adding (1) to (3) we get 2b=14⇒b=7 and so a=4 and the number is 47 .
