for linear equation in one variable let the number be xy
now x=2y

number=20y+y=21y

number formed on interchanging digit=2y y

: number=10y+2y=12y

a/q
=》21y-36=12y
=》21y-12y=36
=》9y=36
=》y=4
: number=20y+y=20×4+4=84
