The ten's digit of a two digit number is twice the unit's digit . The sum of the number and it's units digit is 66 . Find the number.​

Answer:

let the units digit be y & tens digit be x .

then x=2y

another equation , 10x+y+y=66

10x+2y=66

10 (2y)+2y=66

20y+2y=66

22y=66

y=3

we know , x=2y

so x=2*3=6

hence the number is 63.
