Let x represent the unit digit
10(2x) + x = 10x + 2x + 18
9x = 18
x = 2
Number is 42
CHECKING our answer***

let the digit tens place be x
& that of units be y
By the first condition
x-2y=0...........................(1)
Number:10x+y
By the second condition
10x+y-18=10y+x
9x-18=9y
9x-9y=18
x-y=2............(dividing through 9)
subtracting eqn (2) from (1)
-y=-2
y=2
substitute y=2 in eqn (2)
x=4
Therefore the required number:
10x+y
=10(4)+2
=42
HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
