The term metamorphosis is not used while describing human developement .why?

Hey buddy,

Metamorphosis means gradual development through nymphal stages,

for example, in cockroches, the nymphs grows by moulting 13 times to reach the development.

Human development is direct development, there is no larval stages in the developmental process

Because human development does not involve any larval stages, we do not use the term metamorphosis while describing human development.
