The textile industry occupies unique position in india economy due to following reasons :
- It occupies a unique position in the Indian economy because it contribute significantly to industrial production.
- It employe about 35 million of people directly and earn foreign exchange of about 24.6 percent.
- The industrial has closed link with agriculture and provide a living to farmers, cotton ball plucker and worked engaged in ginning, spinning, weaving, dying, sewing etc...
- India export yarn to Japan and export cotton good to USA, Russia, French, Sri Lanka and many other countries.
- Our spinning mill are competitive at the global land and capable of using all the fibres. It contribute 4percent to following our GDP.
