The textile industry in India has a great role in Indian Economy. As, India is one of the largest producer of textiles and exporter all over the world.
In India the textile industries are located in many places of India.some examples of textile industry cities are :
☆ Surat
☆ Kanchipuram
☆ Banaras etc..
This places in the India have a great role in production of textiles.
☆ Textile sector is the oldest one in India.
☆ About the 13% of Indian exports are textiles.
☆ This textile industries provide a lot of employment to the Indians.
