Given : The theoretical probability of winning a bobblehead when spinning a prize wheel is  1/6

The wheel has 18 sections.

To Find : (a) How many sections have a bobblehead as a prize?

(b) The prize wheel is spun 540 times. About how many bobbleheads do

you expect to be won?

Solution:

Probability of winning prizes  =   ( section having bobblehead as a prize)/ (total section )

=> 1/6  =   ( section having bobblehead as a prize)/18

=>  section having bobblehead as a prize = 3

Winning probability = 1/6

Spun 540 times

expect to be won = (1/6) * 540  = 90

Hence correct option is  3 , 90.
