the thickness of a metal pipe is 1cm its inner diameter is 14cm what is the volume of metal needed for a pipe of length 1m?

Hello!

• d = 14 cm
• Radius, r = d / 2 = 7 cm
• Radius, R = r + 1 = 8 cm

Volume of Hollow cylinder :

= π.(R² - r²).h

= 22 / 7 × (64 - 49) × 100

= 4714. 2 cm³
