the thickness of hollow metallic cylinder is 2 centimetre it is 70 cm long with outer radius of 14 cm find the volume of metal used in making the cylinder assuming that is open at both ends also find its weight if the metal weighs a g per centimetre cube

volume of hollow cylinder
=πh(R²-r²)
=22/7×70[(14)²-(12)²]
=220(196-144)
=220×52
=11440cm³
Weight =volume × density
=11440×1
=11440g
