The thickness of hollow wooden cylinder is 2cm . It is 35cm long and it's inner radius is 12cm . Find the volume of the wood required to make the cylinder , assuming it is open at either end.​

Inner radius (r)=12 cm

Outer radius (R) =r+t=12+2=14 cm

Volume of Wood Required =

Outer Volume of Cylinder - Inner Volume of Cylinder

=> (π×R²×h) − (π×r²×h) = π×h(R²-r²)

=> 227×35×(196−144) = 227×35×52 = 5720cm³

=> Volume of Wood Required = 5720cm³
