the third level at grand Central station is nothing but a convenient excuse for escapism. is it a medium or a way of getting away from the unpleasant and insecure present forgetting your normal life?

The third level does not exist physically.Mentally, it is a peaceful , pleasant and soothing place which promotes mental satisfaction

Sam correctly feagured it out.He reported that the philately (Collection of stamps) was also a means of escapism.Though Charley negated it, Sam was certain about what he told.

Sam too always dreamt of setting up a hay business in the peaceful area of Galesburg and at last, when Charley got letter from him from Galesburg, it confirmed the fact that The third level was nothing but a means of escape to Charley and Sam.They had always been insecure of the widespread hatred and frustration in their daily life.And hence, they always wanted to escape from reality.
