we know that
given third term of a.p is p
that's is a+2d=p..........(1)
and also fourth term of a.p is q
a+3d=q..........(2)
from eq 1 and 2 we get
d=-p+q
by subistuting in eq we get
a=3p-2q
we know that general formula
that is an = a+ (n-1)×d
a(10)= 3p-2q+(10-1)×-p+q
a(10)=3p-2q+9×-p+q
". +9q-9p
-6p+7q
for this general term
an =  3p - 2q  +( {n - 1}  ) \times  - p + q
