Answer:

The third zero cannot be found since there are two equations and three unknowns.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

                Sum of zeroes = -3

          Product of zeroes = 2

  But for a cubic equation  ax³+bx²+cx+d = 0

  We have,

         Sum of the zeroes = -b/a = -3

       Product of zeroes = -d/a = 2

Sum of the product of the roots taken two at a time = c/a = ?

Here we have 2 equations and 3 unknowns.

So, it is not possible to find the third zero.

But if we have sum of zeros and product of zeroes then we can find the quadratic equation.

Let us consider the two zeroes are α and β

        Sum of the zeroes =  α + β = -3

        Product of the roots = α β = 2

Quadratic equation is of the form with the roots α and β is of the form

                x²+( α + β )x + α β = 0

                            x²+(-3)x+2 = 0

                                x²-3x+2 = 0
