the three fourth of the Earth's surface is water even after we are not able to use them because the major portion of water bodies are saline.

as we know saline water can't be digested by humans easily out of this major portion of water bodies only 0.03% is freshwater which is suitable for drinking.

Three fourth of the earth's surface is water but still water is scarce because 97%,of this water is salty and is present in the form of sea water . This water is not fit fir human use. The remaining 3% of this water is fresh water which is fit for human use . But out of this 3% fresh water , majority of it is in the form of polar ice and glaciers and is not available to us . The remaining 1% is unevenly distributed and is scarce.
