let the numbers be x, y, z
given x:y:z = 2:4:7
then x/2 = y/4 = z/7 = p (say)
then x=2p, y=4p, z=7p
given x^3 + y^3 + z^3 = 3320
» (2p)^3 + (4p)^3 + (7p)^3 = 3320
» 8 p^3 + 64 p^3 + 343 p^3 = 3320
» p^3 ( 8 + 64 + 343 ) = 3320
» p^3 ( 415 ) = 3320
» p^3 = 8
» p = 2
therefore, x=2(2)=4
y=4(2)=8
z=7(2)=14
therefore, x=4, y=8, z=14
