Let R1,R2 and R3 be the given resistors which have a resistances 5Ω,10Ω and 30Ω respectively

To find the equivalent total resistance of the circuit

As they are connected in parallel,

1/Rp= 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3

»1/Rp=1/5+1/10+1/30

»1/Rp= (6+3+1)/30

»1/Rp=10/30

»Rp=30/10

»Rp=3Ω

Thus,the equivalent resistance is 3Ω

Answer: 3

:1/5+1/10+1/30 =10/30

=1/3 ans

As they are connected in parallel combination so 1/R=1/3

So R=3
