By Pythagoras' theorem,
Base^2+Perpendicular^2=Hypotenuse^2
In given triangle,
12^2+35^2= 144+1225=1369
37^2=1369
Thus, 12^2+35^2=37^2
So it is a right angled triangle.
Hypotenuse is longest side, i.e., 37 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

this question will be solved by Pythagoras theorem first we will find which side is hypotenuse to find hypotenuse. longest side will be hypotenuse so in 12 35 and 37. 37 is the greatest number so it is the hypotenuse and now we will solve that this triangle can form or not by these sides so first we will add the squares of 12 and 35 cm because we have to add the smallest sides then the greatest so 12 square + 35 square means 12 × 12 + 35 × 35. 12 ×12 equals to 144 + 35 square .35 × 35= 12258 144 + is equals to answer will be 1369 and then we will find the square of the greatest digit 37 square 37 × 37 is equals to 1369 the square of both 12 square + 35 square is equals to 1 3 6 9 and the square of 37 is also equals to 1369 both sides are equal means it can form a right angle
