Let AB=12cm
BC=7.5cm
AC=14.5cm
Squaring all sides, we obtain
AB²=144
BC²=56.25
AC²=210.25
Then,
AB²+BC²=144+56.25
=200.25=/=AC²
Therefore this is not a right angled triangle.

Hope it helps you

MohdSaif12345: yes of course if you want
Martin11th: in a triangle ABC, AB =14cm, BC=48 cm and AC =50cm. Examine if triangle ABC is a right triangle. If yes, Which angle is equal to 90 degree ?
MohdSaif12345: Since AB=14cm, BC=48cm, AC=48cm
MohdSaif12345: Squaring all the sides AB²=196, BC²=2304, AC²=2500
MohdSaif12345: BC²+AB²=2304+196 =2500 =AC²
MohdSaif12345: since it is clear that AC²=BC²+AB²
MohdSaif12345: therefore this is a right angled triangle and angle opposite to side AC is 90 i. e. angle B=90
MohdSaif12345: hope it helps you
